Project: Energy for Education

Energy for Education is an initiative led by Zamorano University aimed at generating 14.5 MWp of sustainable energy, supported by 20% lithium battery storage, and supplying energy to the ENEE (National Electric Power Company) through the spot market. Revenue generated from energy sales will be entirely allocated to funding student scholarships, creating educational opportunities for young people seeking careers in agriculture and contributing to the development of Honduras. This project not only promotes access to education but also strengthens energy sustainability in the region.
