En su intervenci\u00f3n, Fournier subray\u00f3 que Honduras es un pa\u00eds de sorpresas, resiliente, en crecimiento econ\u00f3mico sostenido, con una inflaci\u00f3n controlada del 3.88 % y con indicadores macroecon\u00f3micos que reflejan una administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica comprometida con la estabilidad fiscal. \u201cLa econom\u00eda hondure\u00f1a est\u00e1 en una senda ejemplar; es momento de que el sector privado dialogue con el Gobierno para avanzar en cohesi\u00f3n social y m\u00e1s oportunidades\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La iniciativa, impulsada por la Uni\u00f3n Europea y la C\u00e1mara de Comercio e Industrias de Cort\u00e9s (CCIC), reuni\u00f3 a autoridades nacionales, organismos multilaterales, empresas europeas e inversionistas locales para acelerar proyectos de alto impacto en sectores estrat\u00e9gicos como energ\u00eda, gesti\u00f3n del agua e infraestructura sostenible.<\/p>\n

El ministro de Inversiones y secretario ejecutivo del Consejo Nacional de Inversiones (CNI), Miguel Medina, destac\u00f3 que Honduras cuenta con las condiciones ideales para multiplicar su capacidad de generaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica renovable.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Resalt\u00f3 proyectos prioritarios como las represas multiprop\u00f3sito El Tabl\u00f3n, Jicatuyo y Morolica III, los cuales combinan generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, control de inundaciones y apoyo a la agricultura a trav\u00e9s de sistemas de riego.<\/p>\n

Fournier agreg\u00f3 que actualmente Honduras exporta el doble a la Uni\u00f3n Europea de lo que importa de ella, destacando el caf\u00e9 como principal producto exportado, representando el 57 % de las ventas hacia ese bloque.<\/p>\n

Esta balanza positiva refleja la s\u00f3lida relaci\u00f3n comercial entre ambas partes, la cual se ha duplicado desde 2013 gracias al Acuerdo de Asociaci\u00f3n entre Centroam\u00e9rica y la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n

El Road Show tambi\u00e9n expuso proyectos en curso como el Parque E\u00f3lico San Marcos y l\u00edneas de transmisi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica que reforzar\u00e1n el Mercado El\u00e9ctrico Regional, generando empleos y dinamizando las econom\u00edas locales.<\/p>\n

En palabras de Fournier: \u201cCuando un hondure\u00f1o despierta y toma su celular, usa energ\u00eda europea; cuando estudia o se cura en un hospital, probablemente est\u00e1 rodeado de infraestructura construida con inversi\u00f3n europea. Ya estamos aqu\u00ed. Ahora queremos hacer m\u00e1s.\u201d<\/p>\n

La pr\u00f3xima edici\u00f3n del Global Gateway Road Show est\u00e1 prevista para el 30 de mayo en Tegucigalpa, con un enfoque especial en la recuperaci\u00f3n sostenible del Lago de Yojoa, integrando soluciones ambientales, inversi\u00f3n verde y participaci\u00f3n comunitaria.<\/p>\n

El CNI cuenta con excelentes relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas y de cooperaci\u00f3n internacional con la Uni\u00f3n Europea; para este evento la directora t\u00e9cnica de desarrollo sectorial, Carmen Rivera modero un panel de alto nivel para discutir la participaci\u00f3n del sector privado para el desarrollo de las represas multiprop\u00f3sito con las alocuciones de Bid Invest, la Asociaci\u00f3n Hondure\u00f1a de Energ\u00eda Renovable y la Empresa Nacional de Energ\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica, ENEE.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
